Auna Namkung
I graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I had the great fortune to complete my field hours at UNC Psychiatry, where I offered therapy for conditions including depression, anxiety, disability, chronic pain, developmental delay, and addiction.
Before I became a psychotherapist, I earned a Masters of Science in Education from Florida State University and taught in the public school system. Positive psychology is at the core of our practice, helping to elevate you beyond the neutral state and launch you into your ideal life. I specialize in helping you identify your emotions, recognize behavior patterns and the motivations behind them, then incorporating techniques to support behavior change that align with your values, carefully guiding you to become the person you strive to be.
