Therapists for college students near University of Colorado Boulder
Welcome! I know from my own experiences as well as the many clients I have worked with over the years that therapy is an important pathway towards growth and healing. We will create a space where you can be open, expressive, learn new ways of seeing yourself and the world, new ways to cope with the challenges of life, and create new paths to relationship. We work together to bring wholeness, connection and a rediscovery of your strength and purpose. I am sensitive to the parts of our selves that make us unique, which includes different expressions of gender, sexuality, culture, socio-economic status, ethnicity, race, political ideology, religion, LGTBQIA2S+ identity, and intersectionality. I use mindfulness, my own therapy and consultation to help me address bias that might come up in my work. I partner with clients with an orientation towards social justice, honoring difference and our own deep knowledge of ourselves and our needs.
At Zephyr Behavioral Health and Wellness, we work best with students who feel like they’ve been pushing through life on hard mode. You might be overwhelmed, burned out, or constantly second-guessing yourself. Maybe school feels harder than it should, relationships feel confusing, or you’re exhausted from trying to keep up with expectations that don’t quite fit who you are. Many of the students we support are neurodivergent (including ADHD, autism, or sensory differences), navigating anxiety or depression, or carrying the weight of chronic stress or past experiences. Some come to us feeling stuck or misunderstood. Others are high-achieving but quietly struggling beneath the surface. You don’t need to have everything figured out to get started. Our team focuses on creating a space that is affirming, collaborative, and practical. Where you can show up as you are and build tools that actually work for your brain, your goals, and your life. If you’re looking for support that feels respectful, personalized, and aligned with who you are, Zephyr may be a good fit for you.
Former college athlete turned therapist. I lean on a humanistic and strengths-based style to bring warmth into our work. Open to working with individuals, families, siblings, or couples. Currently only offering virtual sessions. Best way to book is by texting or calling 610-904-3476. I see therapy as an opportunity to highlight your strengths and natural inclination for healing. I offer a warm and compassionate space to explore your emotional landscape in a way that feels right for you. Whether we are working on finding a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns you find yourself in, processing trauma, building skills for better relationships with yourself and others, or any goal you can think of, I'll be offering modalities and interventions that fit your needs. I'm always open for feedback and pivoting our work to best suite you for the season of life you find yourself in. In our first session, you can expect me to give you the opportunity to share what brought you to therapy. I'll ask about the history you feel comfortable sharing about yourself. You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have for me and our work together. Most importantly, we'll start to create the building blocks for trust and comfort, however that looks for you. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, reading, and enjoying cozy cups of tea.
Kaitlin Boyd is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. She specializes in helping teens and adults who are struggling with worry and sadness and want to learn how to confidently embody their authentic selves. Many of her clients are Empaths or Highly Sensitive People--they crave "more" out of life and are seekers with big questions about how to create a life worth living. They have a multitude of strengths, including the ability to feel deep compassion for others and to think critically about the world we live in. But they can also struggle with feeling misunderstood and can develop low self-confidence after focusing so much of their time and attention on others. In therapy, Kaitlin works to help clients express their true selves and find inner peace. Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, using techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), and Existential Therapy. She teaches skills to help clients cope and relate to others in healthy ways, as well as mindfulness to get in touch with the "root cause" of clients' suffering, which can be anything from an unhelpful thought pattern to an unexpressed emotion. Kaitlin welcomes a diversity of clientele and provides a safe space for clients interested in exploring their experience of oppression in the multitude of ways it manifests in our culture. Kaitlin offers the flexibility of remote online therapy sessions.

You're probably here because there is a part of you that knows you were created for more. You were made for deeper connections, more freedom and laughter, a greater sense of purpose and fullness of life. Life is hard. And somewhere along the way we begin relating to ourselves and others from a place of fear and woundedness. We numb ourselves, make ourselves small, and hide the parts that we fear will be rejected. We get stuck in patterns of feeling unlovable, unworthy, afraid, and disconnected from joy. Therapy can help you realign with your true self and find compassion and healing for the parts that feel stuck.
Hi, I'm Larry - owner and currently primary therapist at Growth Odyssey LLC. Thanks for stopping by! I prefer to utilize a relaxed, approachable style to facilitate easy conversation and connection. I change therapy modalities periodically to best match where you are at with your process. I can use humor to help cut tension and set a pace for conversation that doesn't get too overwhelming. I believe that good therapy is like searching for treasure underwater - we want to go down, sift through the sand and mud, look for buried treasure, and periodically take moments to come up for air. I'm happy to meet you where you're at in your journey and help you find your way. I'm trained: I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UCCS Colorado Springs with additional training for addiction treatment. I've completed trainings for EMDR, ACT, trauma informed care, and many other areas to give me a well-rounded toolbox to work with. I'm experienced: I have worked in most levels of care, from weekly therapy sessions to inpatient rehab for substance use disorders and hospitalization for suicidal thoughts and severe psychiatric distress. I've experienced working with a broad range of issues which means I likely have some experience related to what you are going through.
