I also provide online adult ADHD evaluations/testing for students and adults in Colorado.

Life is hard. Like, really hard. And you're doing all the right things; but you still feel anxious. You can't seem to stop overthinking everything. You are feeling more and more insecure and are worried about feeling like a burden to others. You've tried to rationalize your thinking, but aren't getting anywhere. And now, that inner critic has become so loud and so present, that it's hard to hear or believe anything else. This is what I often hear from clients, and I get it - I've been there too. I understand what it's like to be labelled as "sensitive" and viewing emotions as a weakness. It's hard to figure out how to feel confident in who you are while living up to others' expectations. To feel constantly worried about "doing the right thing" and struggling with feeling "selfish" when you're trying to set boundaries. I help those who are excessively worried, struggling with low self-esteem, and experiencing relational distress gain confidence in being their authentic selves. I help my clients learn how to cope with their emotional experiences while practicing self-compassion. Emotions are not our enemy; in fact, emotions have a purpose. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and mindfulness - I help clients learn how to use their emotions to connect with their inner selves and identify patterns and themes that wreak havoc in their lives. If you find yourself tired of feeling chronically defeated and are ready for change- it's time to start your journey of self-healing and growth.

Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Durango, CO

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a psychotherapist based in Durango, Colorado, offering both in-person and online therapy for adults who are seeking personal growth, reconnection, and a deeper sense of belonging—to self, others, and the natural world. I work with individuals and groups navigating life transitions, perfectionism, anxiety, and attachment wounds. Many of the people I work with feel called toward therapy that is experiential, relational, and different from talk therapy alone. My work is rooted in the study of attachment and human development, and shaped by years of training in nature-based and equine-assisted psychotherapy. I draw on a holistic, relational approach that honors the intelligence of the body, the nervous system, and nature’s rhythms. Our work together will support you in re-sensitizing to your inner experience, reconnecting with your innate wisdom, and restoring your sense of vitality and belonging.

Psychologist
Colorado Springs, CO

Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.

As we grow and face the world, so too grows the number of challenges and responsibilities we face. And with this increase comes the possibility for new anxieties, new depression, and new traumas to arise. Often we can be left feeling unprepared because life rarely gives us a roadmap to dealing with these complex issues. Therapy can be a daunting task, but that doesn't mean it's not a good thing. Seeking help is the first step to starting a positive change and it is only once we embrace that change that we can reach a happier and healthier place. If you've been struggling more often then not, I encourage you to reach out. Whether it's just needing a safe place to talk about life's stressors, building coping skills, seeking solutions, or beginning to work on long held traumas, we will work together to face these issues as a team.

Feeling caught in a pattern in your dating life or committed relationship? Feeling like experiences in your past are making it difficult to attain or sustain connection? In an era of online dating and instant connection that feels like disconnection, we will work together to understand your past, your current negative patterns, and how to make changes towards healthy relationships. Life can feel like a constant push toward the next achievement, leaving you stuck in self-doubt, uncertainty, or the pressure to have it all figured out. Maybe you're questioning your path, struggling with relationships, or trying to break free from old patterns that no longer serve you. If your inner critic won’t quiet down or you feel overwhelmed by anxiety and stress, you don’t have to navigate it alone. The experiences we carry from childhood shape how we navigate relationships, cope with challenges, and see ourselves. Past wounds can create patterns that feel hard to break, but change is possible. If you feel stuck in cycles of self-doubt, struggling to set boundaries, or weighed down by family expectations, therapy can support you in discovering your true self and creating healthier patterns. I offer a space to explore these challenges, challenge limiting beliefs, and develop a stronger connection to yourself. I specialize in a psychodynamic approach with an attachment lens, helping you unpack how past experiences influence your present. Using a trauma-informed and holistic framework, I address the whole person—mind, body, and emotions. I also can incorporate brainspotting, a nontraditional but powerful tool that helps process trauma and emotional distress beyond talk therapy. Additionally, I support those adjusting to life with cancer or chronic illness, helping you navigate the emotional weight of a diagnosis, changes in identity, and the uncertainty that comes with it. My style is warm, approachable, and real. Therapy should be a place where you feel safe to be yourself—whether you’re laughing, crying, or just figuring things out. Let’s work together to build confidence, clarity, and a life that feels more like yours.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Denver, CO

Working as an independent provider giving psychiatric care from my office, White Hart PMH, I help students who struggle with depression, anxiety, and attention deficit disorder and provide understanding of the progression and management of these conditions improving the overall quality of personal, academic, and professional life by bringing together physiologic (medications management), psychologic (psychotherapy support, cognitive processes, mindfulness), and lifestyle (nutrition as medicine, physical activity strategies). I find working with college students and young adults very rewarding recognizing I was once in the same place as you. I understand how challenging it can be to maintain the demands of college especially true when coping with depression, anxiety, and cognitive performance issues. These experiences lead to feeling overwhelmed and make keeping up with schoolwork difficult. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and performance issues, an assessment and an individualized treatment plan can help.

My name is Jennifer Koch (She/Her). I am a 30 year experienced somatic mind-body oriented therapist who provides support for adolescents and adults moving through issues related to depression, anxiety, PTSD, sexual abuse survivors, medical trauma, falls/injuries, car accidents, substance use, grief/loss, LGBTQIA+ and other life transitions. Clients reach out for many reasons. Some are noticing distressing memories, fears, worry, or sadness impacting their relationships, employment, and sleep. Sometimes parents reach out concerned about their teen or college student seeming more withdrawn or overwhelmed at school/college or home. Some clients are feeling pressure to be perfect and keep up with life’s demands. Some are feeling stuck and unable to move their life forward and accomplish their personal or professional goals. I believe wholeheartedly in the resilience and capacity of our nervous systems to heal and move beyond past/current challenges we face with the right support. Please email me or call to schedule a free 15 minute telephone consultation call to explore if we are a good match for the support you are needing at this time. If so, we will schedule your initial visit in-person or via telehealth.

I work with non-linear thinkers who are searching for a therapist with intuitive wisdom who cherishes the divergent path. I specializes in connecting with ADHDers who have always felt different even if others couldn't tell. My clients are notoriously curious and adept improvisors, who are playfully creative, but they still feel perpetually out-of-sync with the world around them. They charm others with their insight and levity, and save the biting criticisms for themselves. So they end up feeling like anxious imposters, waiting to be exposed. Acquiescing to others has helped you get by without too many catastrophes, but deep down you can't keep convincing yourself that you're okay with just getting by. There's a deeper itch that's beckoning you into an alternative way of being. Yes, still different, but personal, integrated, aligned with your soul. I approach therapy as the life-changing work that it is, and while there's a serious commitment to exploring one's psyche, it doesn't mean you or I are required to take ourselves too seriously. Excavating one's own lived experience and the difficulty of navigating a world not built for you is not for the faint of heart, yet we continue to be curious, adapt, and play. I am intentional in creating and holding space for clients to find and share a more authentic version of themselves. Clients are well-met when they bring curiosity about their distinct approach to life, courage to speak what has been left unsaid, and compassion to nurture a deeper truth about themselves.
