One of the great promises of therapy is that even when we don’t know exactly what we need or know how to feel better, if we lean in with curiosity and compassion- and stay committed- we can learn to turn toward ourselves and each other with empathy, begin to build healthier relationships, and ride waves of emotions like a pro surfer. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and reach greater levels of understanding along happiness in life. I think the best way to get there is through a meaningful connection that is created in a safe environment where we can express our authentic needs. I often support clients with experiences like stress, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, bipolar, ADHD, and autism. I have been trained in various clinical techniques in Europe, including schema therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique goals and needs. Growing up outside the US, I also bring a cross-cultural perspective that deepens my understanding of the challenges people from diverse backgrounds might face. I empower my clients to gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can make meaningful changes in their lives. Reach out if you're curious about working together!

I am a clinical social worker and expressive art therapist. I'm passionate about art and mental health education and use both to support people as they develop skills and learn therapeutic tools to manage symptoms. In individual therapy, I enjoy working with young adults to help them develop positive relationships with themselves. I want to learn about you, how you think, how you learned those things, and what truly energizes you. Therapy can focus on processing the past using art and EMDR while also focusing on falling in love with the present. My speciality is using expressive art in therapy. Whether you believe yourself to be creative or not, my hope is to guide you through different ways to use art for relaxation and self-expression in group, individual, and family sessions. Sometimes words are not enough.

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting young adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions, relationships, and challenges. My client-centered approach explores root causes while building practical coping skills for daily life. Using a trauma-informed lens, I integrate yoga-based mindfulness and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and deeper healing. Psychodynamic and narrative therapy help us understand how your worldview was shaped and how it influences your present. We may also incorporate IFS based parts work to gently explore and understand the different parts of your inner experience. With training in the Gottman Method, I help couples strengthen communication, connection, and trust. Together we focus on deepening friendship while managing the practical demands of partnership. You’ll learn tools for healthy conflict resolution and collaboration, remembering you are on the same team. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you feel safe and supported. I understand that beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.

Hi! I am a licensed outpatient mental health counselor with a community mental health background, and work primarily from young/emerging adulthood to middle adulthood. I have experience working with complex trauma, as well as challenges associated with emerging adulthood, gaining independence, and setting personal goals for growth. Additionally, I enjoy providing support to other mental health clinicians seeking services themselves. I offer one-on-one outpatient therapy using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), attachment-based therapy, and more. I view my work through trauma-informed and culturally-informed lenses. Building rapport and a trusting therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance in order for treatment to be most effective. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and be a part of your journey towards growing and healing.
I help folks get unstuck by using strategies and conserving their energy as best they can. Sometimes all the insight in the world doesn't change your life. I use various behavior therapies so we can understand how and why you tick AND come up with tangible steps towards the life you’ve always wanted. Virtual evening skills groups! I offer virtual DBT skills groups for adults including: young adults, mixed ages and all genders, women only and men only. Generally the folks I work with struggle with high sensitivity, perfectionism, and mild/moderate depression and anxiety symptoms. Most of the folks I work with use the psychoeducational group to enhance the individual healing work they are already doing. The group adds structure and accountability to practicing evidence based coping strategies to better manage moods, identify triggers, improve relationships/communication and overall stress management techniques.

You participate where it is most comfortable and convenient for you. ***I also offer short term summer counseling for college students’ home for summer break. As we grow and develop life throws at us a series of experiences and challenges. We learn to navigate our environment and relationships through these experiences. As a therapist I have the utmost respect for the ways in which people have approached their lives. It is not my goal to tell someone how to live. My role is to provide a relationship and a dedicated time to think openly about your experience. Sometimes we lose sight of the meaning and spend time trying to convince ourselves of something that may no longer fit. Through empathy and playfulness, I hope to create a space in which people feel safe to explore new ways of being and thinking. I am interested in both what you say and how you say it: the lyrics and the music. We will work together to find new ways of making meaning out of what life offers. In our first meeting I will be very curious to learn about your life and the challenges you are experiencing. We will discuss how you approach your life and identify ways in which you may struggle and succeed in facing difficulties. I will share feedback with you towards the end of the session and spend time planning future steps. I have worked in college and university mental health centers for over 10 years and look forward to continuing my work with students in my private practice.
