One of the great promises of therapy is that even when we don’t know exactly what we need or know how to feel better, if we lean in with curiosity and compassion- and stay committed- we can learn to turn toward ourselves and each other with empathy, begin to build healthier relationships, and ride waves of emotions like a pro surfer. I believe we all have the capacity to grow and reach greater levels of understanding along happiness in life. I think the best way to get there is through a meaningful connection that is created in a safe environment where we can express our authentic needs. I often support clients with experiences like stress, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, bipolar, ADHD, and autism. I have been trained in various clinical techniques in Europe, including schema therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique goals and needs. Growing up outside the US, I also bring a cross-cultural perspective that deepens my understanding of the challenges people from diverse backgrounds might face. I empower my clients to gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can make meaningful changes in their lives. Reach out if you're curious about working together!

The journey towards self-discovery is a valuable and worthwhile endeavor, deserving of the effort required to connect with one's authentic self. I believe in the inherent capacity for individuals to thrive and undergo meaningful personal growth. Throughout our work together we will create an environment where vulnerability is embraced, challenging conversations occur, and discomfort is acknowledged as a catalyst for growth and change, as we explore and unravel learned patterns that may no longer serve you. My therapeutic approach is characterized by flexibility, adapting to your unique needs and preferences. I highly value your feedback, ensuring that our collaboration is a dynamic and responsive process. Grounded in an intersectional understanding of trauma, neurodiversity, and systemic oppression, I aim not only to delve into your internal world but also to consider the impact of external factors on your well-being. Therapy with me involves taking the time to connect with your joys, struggles, history, and hopes, facilitating a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of yourself. Focusing on complex trauma and neurodiversity, I have a profound appreciation for the richness and complexity of people's stories. I am committed to supporting your growth and change while acknowledging and welcoming all facets of your identity. Furthermore, I am dedicated to my own ongoing learning on social justice topics and anti-racism, recognizing the importance of understanding my own identities (both privileged and marginalized) to create an inclusive and empathic therapeutic environment. I believe that my work as a therapist is not just about individual growth but empowering my clients to recognize and dismantle the damaging and broken systems in their lives. As the therapeutic relationship is central to our work and not every therapist is going to be the best fit for you, I encourage you to take advantage of my 15 minute free consultation. This way we can discuss what you are looking for from therapy and I can answer any questions you might have about starting therapy with me. I look forward to hearing from you!

"When I discover who I am, I'll be free."-Ralph Ellison. I believe that many of the challenges that inhibit us from achieving our goals are related to the difficulty in knowing ourselves and how we can maximize our strengths in order to meet the challenges we face. I believe that no matter what your presenting issue, awareness of our own goals, values, and strengths are critical. It is my goal to help clients cultivate self-awareness in order to achieve their therapeutic goals. I am a clinical social worker who specializes in working with college-age students and young adults. Using a collaborative approach, I work with clients to develop a shared understanding of the goals and preferred outcomes for therapy. I draw on many theories including cognitive-behavioral therapy, liberation health, feminist, and multicultural theories. In working with clients I strive to address the personal, institutional, and cultural factors that might be affecting a client's presentation. If you have any questions for me, or think we may be a good fit, please reach out today. I prefer initial contact to be through email, however if you do call, please be sure to leave a detailed voicemail.

I am committed to provide LGBTQ+ and BIPOC centered care. One on one psychotherapy based on clients’ strengths and growth points at a collaborated pace. I support clients who need support navigating life transitions, anxiety, relationships/dating, identity-related challenges, imposter syndrome work/life balance and neurodiversity. My clinical training focused on providing trauma-informed culturally conscious therapy to clients who come from many walks of life and intersecting identities, while utilizing kindness, metaphors and a bit of humor in my therapy sessions. I’ve worked in the mental health field since 2016, and am professionally licensed in Massachusetts. I use different counseling modalities based on what clients presented needs such as evidence-based approach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Person Centered, Multicultural, and Strength-Based Therapy. You may be in a time full of worry and uncertainty, it's okay to want the support of deep connections with others. Therapy can be a place to heal, to learn, to grow, to transform, and to feel seen. Have you been in therapy before or are you new to mental health therapy? My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at and move together towards the changes you would like to see. I pull from a variety of different styles to address your goals, including skill building, CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed care approaches. I hope to foster a space where you feel seen and heard and where you are able to take care of what has brought you to therapy (or back to therapy) in the first place. I offer weekly, bi-weekly, or, in some cases, monthly sessions at 45 or 60 minutes in length via telehealth. All sessions start with a phone call where we 1) make sure I am the right fit for you, 2) verify your insurance or payment method is active and all set, and 3) schedule you an intake and an ongoing appointment time that works for your schedule. I return all calls and email requests for therapy services and hope that I may be of help to you at this point in time or, at the very least, be able to point you in the right direction.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and psychotherapist. One of my areas of emphasis is counseling undergraduate and graduate students who are navigating the complexities of college life and balancing the demands that often accompany this time. It is common for these years to bring discovery and connection as well as stress, pressure and anxiety. In collaboration, we can work through what is challenging or making you feel stuck or avoidant. We can address mental health concerns that may be disrupting your path. We will look at your day-to-day functioning as well as the bigger picture of your life. I will support you in taking meaningful steps towards your goals. I have extensive specialized experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, and BFRBs. While in training, I also completed an internship at a college counseling center where I had the wonderful opportunity to counsel students entering healthcare professions. It can be helpful for potential clients to know ahead of time that I am "in- network" with Boston University Aetna Student Health specifically. If you have this insurance, your visits are covered and you are only responsible for your copay. In all other cases, I am "out-of network." I am happy to offer a superbill invoice you can submit to your insurance for partial or full reimbursement, if you have out-of-network benefits and are eligible for reimbursement. If you aren't sure whether you do, you can call the phone number on your insurance card to ask. I am licensed in MA and CT. I look forward to getting to know you!

At the current time I am not *personally* accepting new clients because of having to only meet via telehealth. Our practice, however, is still accepting new clients. I've been working individually with college students since 2003. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders/disordered eating, body image issues, and perfectionism, but also treat clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma histories/PTSD, relationship issues, family issues, life adjustment/transition issues.

I work primarily with those suffering from chronic illness. Difficult to treat medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, Lupus, etc. are often poorly understood, and it can be very difficult for patients to find the help and support they need. I teach my clients tools for coping with and managing every day life with these conditions, in addition to mind body medicine practices to help alleviate symptoms and to decrease stress. I have recently started offering Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy as a way to cope with life stressors or trauma.

Hi, I’m Eva, a licensed mental health counselor and owner of Rooted Behavioral Health & Wellness in Massachusetts. I work with adolescents and young adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck or like their thoughts have taken over. I draw from evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also keeping sessions real and engaging—because sometimes a little humor can make hard things feel more manageable. Together, we'll take small steps, challenge old patterns, and move forward in ways that once felt impossible. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be real, feel understood, and actually learn tools that make a difference in your everyday life.
