Do you often find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, worried, or misunderstood? Maybe these are new struggles or something you’ve been dealing with for a while. Either way, I am glad you are here. I am a Harvard-trained licensed psychologist with expertise in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, depression, and emotional difficulties. I have been extensively trained in various evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for specific phobias and trauma. As a therapist, I am warm and supportive, and I strive to create a non-judgmental space where, together, we can explore what’s troubling you. My approach is grounded in emotion-focused CBT, helping you better understand your thoughts and emotions in various situations and what needs to change for you to feel better. Together, we can then help you make small, practical changes consistently in your life that can add up to feeling better and more empowered over time. If this sounds like it might be helpful, I invite you to reach out 15-minute consultation call where we can see if we might be a good fit. I look forward to meeting you!

PMHNP stands for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am a nurse practitioner specializing in the treatment of common mental health disorders, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, and mood disorders. I prescribe medication when it is clinically appropriate, as it can be an essential component of a comprehensive treatment plan for many mental health conditions. My approach emphasizes collaboration and informed consent. Any medication decisions are made together, ensuring the patient feels comfortable and supported in his/her/their care. Once prescribed, medications are carefully monitored and adjusted as needed to ensure both safety and effectiveness. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, I take a functional, root-cause approach to understanding each person’s presentation. I am currently completing a functional medicine fellowship to deepen this work, and integrate these principles into my care. This includes using lab testing to uncover underlying imbalances, supporting wellness through nutrition, sleep, and lifestyle, and incorporating nutraceuticals or supplements when appropriate to promote lasting improvement.

I specialize in the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults who experience anxiety, social difficulties, behavioral issues, ADHD, or low self-esteem. Specifically, I have expertise working with neurodivergent clients. I enjoy helping clients experience greater success at school, home, work, or with peers--ultimately reducing anxiety and improving self-esteem. I use Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, behavioral strategies, and a strengths-based approach. My focus is on creating a strong, foundational relationship with clients. I value client feedback, and respect the unique needs and strengths of each person I work with. My goal is to encourage and empower individuals to reach their greatest potential.

My goal is to help you make sense of what feels messy, reconnect with your strengths, and navigate the challenges that are holding you back. I specialize in working with college students and understand the unique struggles that come with this stage of life. If you're curious about how therapy might help, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. Feel free to check out my website or send me an email with any questions.
