Welcome! Glow Counseling Solutions is a Philadelphia-based mental health practice which focuses on empowering older teens and adults through individual talk therapy, skill building, and values exploration. My therapy approach is relational, strengths based, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be affirming, supportive, culturally aware, and evidence based (backed by research!). I specialize in treating Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Trauma, Identity Struggles, Self-Esteem, Addictions, and Life Transitions Individuals I typically work with: - Have a constant worry or fear of not ‘being good enough’ - Are exploring reconnecting with themselves and identifying who they want to be - Experience intrusive negative thoughts - Are entering into or experiencing a major life change such as a relationship ending or chronic illness diagnosis - Have a persistent feeling that ‘nothing matters’ - Have a difficult time managing inconsistency with their emotions - Have flashbacks or memories back to negative times - Are always overthinking and worried - Have ongoing conflicts, fights, or misunderstandings with their loved ones - Have experienced emotional trauma during childhood and adolescence As a licensed Mental Health Professional, I implement evidence-based (research backed!) and trauma informed practices with all clients. I pride myself on being an ally to and working with the LGBTQIA2S+ community, BIPOC individuals, neurodivergent populations, individuals with disabilities, and those who identity as consensual non-monogamous/polyamorous. I support individuals on their journey of exploring their struggles and focus on helping them achieve their individualized treatment goals. I respect each individual’s autonomy to move at a pace they are comfortable with, while also empowering them to work on their goals. I hope to make individuals feel supported, safe, and accepted. I focus on building a collaborative and affirming relationship with individuals, while utilizing the theoretical orientations identified below: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Somatic Experiencing. At this time, all services are provided via Telehealth. I am currently practicing out of the Philadelphia area. I am licensed in PA and NJ and am able to provide teletherapy to clients who reside anywhere within these two states. Sessions are conducted virtually by a hippa compliant video platform. With virtual therapy, you have the benefit of flexible and convenient care from the comfort of your choosing. Looking forward to connecting!

Many of the students and young adults we work best with are in the middle of a transition. They may have just moved away from home, started college or graduate school, begun a new job, or are trying to figure out who they are outside of their family. On the outside, it can look like they’re “doing fine.” On the inside, they often feel anxious, overwhelmed, uncertain, or afraid of making the wrong choices. You might relate if you’re struggling with independence — wanting space from your family but also feeling pulled back by guilt or expectations. Maybe you worry about the future, question your decisions constantly, or feel behind compared to everyone else. “Adulting” can feel harder than anyone warned you about. If you’re navigating identity, relationships, pressure to succeed, or fear of what comes next, you’re not alone. We work well with students who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to better understand themselves — even if they’re not sure where to start.

I support students who are used to holding it together for everyone else—but privately struggle with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, trauma, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. You might overthink everything, avoid asking for help, or feel exhausted by the pressure to perform academically and socially. My practice offers a warm, steady space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and build real coping skills—not just quick fixes. I provide trauma-informed therapy using EMDR, partswork, art therapy, and somatic/body-based approaches that help you understand how stress and past experiences affect your body, emotions, and relationships so you can feel more grounded and confident. I accept funding through VCAP (Victim Compensation Assistance Program) which helps cover the cost of 6-12 months of therapy for sexual assault survivors in Pennsylvania (no need to have ever reported assault in order to be eligible to apply). I provide individual, couples, and family therapy in person in Philadelphia, and I can see clients virtually in most states including New York. Because I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and was the director of Penn's O’Brien Center for Addiction Treatment, I have extensive experience with the needs of Penn students. I work well with student athletes, including those who are recovering from injuries. I am very familiar with the application processes for medical school, veterinary school, law school, and business school--and with careers in competitive industries such as consulting, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, and real estate development. I can help students with burnout and academic stress as well as anxiety, perfectionism, and self-doubt. In addition to working with Penn Students, I also have experience with students from NYU, Georgetown, the University of Michigan, Yale, Brown, Fordham, Drexel, Bryn Mawr, Villanova, St. Joe's, Cornell, the University of Delaware, the University of Pittsburgh, American University, Penn State, Thomas Jefferson University, SUNY Upstate Medical University, and many other schools. I have helped students to find meaningful romantic relationships and to heal earlier relationship injuries that may be getting in the way of intimacy. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) can be very helpful for overcoming childhood and relationship wounding. More broadly, I am skilled at helping with career coaching, anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, grief, loneliness and addiction. I also work with people to improve their relationships with social media and screens. My style is nonjudgmental and flexible. I often use EMDR to help people to work through stressful or traumatic events and to better understand themselves. Depending on the client’s goals, I can integrate CBT, DBT, and solution-oriented approaches. I have extensive training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) and, for couples, IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out). I also have specialized training in the CRAFT approach for how to talk to loved ones about addictive behaviors without hurting the relationship. Using EMDR, I can help people to address the root causes of complex issues like addiction. My background is in positive psychology and addiction. My postdoctoral fellowship at Penn was in positive psychology. From that I learned to help people to use their strengths to build happier lives and careers.

Hi, I‘m Chaise (He/Him), a student therapist under supervision as I complete my Master’s in Couples and Family Therapy. I recently moved to Philadelphia and spent most of my life living in a rural area before I moved. My journey towards becoming a therapist has been shaped by my life experiences and a desire to help people understand and cope with things that they experience. When I was studying psychology at Millersville University, I knew I wanted to be a therapist but struggled trying to figure out how I wanted to help people. Through the classes I took and internships I did I realized that the area I really wanted to focus on was sexuality and creating a space where people can feel safe and comfortable talking about any aspect that they want/need to. I’m especially drawn to working with people who are in the LGBTQ+ community as well as people or couples who are struggling with issues related to kinks and fetishes and/or sex addiction. One of my personal philosophies is that these topics needs a safe space to be talked about whether it be needing support while you explore your sexual identity or wanting additional support while you and your partner(s) discuss boundaries or discuss what you desire from each other sexually. My life experiences have helped me to understand that each person’s lived experiences are unique to them and so what may help one person might not help someone else. I try to bring this understanding with me into each session so I can try to support each client to the best of my ability while still trying to stay true to myself.

I do two things really well - listen and empathize. You and your story are unique. My job is to help you set goals and develop a plan to set the path for our work together. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space for open sharing and reflection. My role is not to judge or tell you what you should do. My role is to empower and support you to be your best self even if that sometimes means challenging you to promote change. I work with young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and/or general life stress. The world itself impacts how we move through it particularly for members of neurodivergent and BIPOC communities. I offer a 15 minute phone consult to see if we vibe.

I am sorry you are going through a hard time, but it is already easy to see you have at least one strength...you get help and support when you need it, you are actively doing it right now. I currently have openings for college students. I am an easy going, non-judgmental therapist who likes to be actively engaged in sessions. I will talk with you to help you see and understand your experiences in a more comprehensive way and I will help you to implement strategies so you do not make the same mistakes over and over again. I am honest. I am safe. I am competent. If you are curious you can reach out (email or voicemail is best) and we can figure out a time to chat for a few minutes to see if we are a good fit. Good luck on your next steps!

I provide individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. I work best with students and young adults who are motivated to make changes and have specific goals they want to achieve. My approach combines practical strategies, like cognitive behavioral techniques, with a relational, supportive style. I also offer guidance on managing stress, relationships, and life transitions. I have extensive experience in mental health, including depression, anxiety, behavior challenges, grief, and chronic illness, and I enjoy helping young adults navigate challenges while building skills for long-term success. I speak both Spanish and French and can provide culturally sensitive care in those languages.

I believe that therapy should set you up to live real life, so I’m all about helping my clients develop coping skills to deal with life’s stressors and challenges. Let’s be honest - fixing all of your problems isn’t very realistic, is it?? I also emphasize being realistic about how our minds work. How many times have you had an unpleasant thought or emotion that you tried to banish from your mind once and for all, just to notice that the thought or emotion came back? That’s why I work with clients to change their relationship with distressing thoughts, emotions, and symptoms instead of trying to avoid or change them. I support my clients in recognizing that as long as we don’t let distressing thoughts and feelings overpower us, we are free to make choices that add up to create a fulfilling life. My therapeutic style is very collaborative and inquisitive. I believe that therapy is a group project between my client and me, meaning that it is important for clients to be engaged in therapy and apply what they learn in therapy to their own lives outside of session. I’m the type of therapist that asks open-ended questions to help my clients make connections between their past and their present lives and between their internal experiences and external environment. Therapy is a long game, so to speak. I believe in the importance in supporting my clients in taking their time to build better understanding of the self, as well as learning helpful coping skills. We’ll go at your pace - there’s no rush!

I'm excited you're here! Therapeutic relationships can be an incredibly powerful resource for accessing your truth, increasing self-love, and healing through connection. My aim as a therapist is to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space that supports clients in divesting from narratives of self-pathology, rewriting their stories in empowering ways, and in feeling more grounded and more joyful in their daily lives. My practice is rooted in a social justice frame and a belief that symptoms are most often related to the trauma of lived experiences of oppression and discrimination, not due to internal failing. I work with clients who need help managing anxiety, exploring identity, managing life transitions, managing symptoms of trauma, and undoing internalized white supremacy. I offer a politicized lens and believe in the connection between relational healing and collective liberation. I intend for therapy to be an affirming, healing and celebratory space. For those pursuing gender affirming surgeries or HRT, I'm happy to provide letters for your insurance/surgeon. I identify as White, queer, trans, nonbinary, fat, and neurodiverse (ADHD). As of August 2025, I have availability for virtual clients. Please feel free to reach out - I’d love to chat about potentially working together!
