Hi, I'm Kristine! College and early adulthood can feel like the first time no one's handing you a syllabus for your own life, and that's disorienting. If anxiety, homesickness, imposter feelings, or the pressure to have it all figured out are wearing you down, I'd love to help. I work with students and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and the identity questions that come with being newly on your own. Many of my clients grew up as the responsible one, the peacekeeper, or the high achiever, and are realizing that pattern is exhausting to maintain. We'll get curious about where that started and build something more sustainable in its place. My approach combines CBT and psychodynamic therapy with mindfulness and a mind-body lens since academic stress and anxiety show up physically as much as mentally. Sessions are practical and collaborative. You bring what's going on, I bring structure and support. *Insurance & Fees* I am in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Northwell Direct, and Quest Behavioral Health. For all other major insurance companies, I am an out of network provider. My office provides a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement and we will assist you in verifying your benefits to make the process as seamless as possible. I also offer a sliding scale rate for those in need. Please reach out to learn more about how we can work together.
We are a small group therapy practice serving clients in person in Pittsburgh, PA and via telehealth throughout Pennsylvania. Our practice centers the needs and experiences of marginalized people and populations, especially those who are LGBTQIA+ people, neurodivergent, or practicing alternative relationship structures (e.g., ethical nonmonogamy). All of our clinicians have lived experience with at least one of these topics, and we are committed to inclusive, trauma-informed care. Check out our clinician bios on our website to see if we sound like a good fit for your needs, and feel free to contact us with questions!
We are a liberation-focused therapy and consulting practice offering affirming care, regardless of your identity, we’re here to offer our support and ALL are welcome. Our practice emphasizes affirming care for queer, neurodivergent, and marginalized communities because these groups often struggle to find safe providers. At the same time, therapy is for anyone seeking personal growth and support. You don’t have to hold a marginalized identity to benefit from what we offer – we’re here for the full range of human experience. We believe that healing is inseparable from justice. We offer therapy from a perspective that acknowledges systems of power and oppression. We exist to affirm and support the marginalized identities that are most impacted by systemic injustice and harm. We also recognize our shortcomings and lack of power. We can’t change systemic injustice, but we are dedicated to ongoing education and training that equips us to do our very best at offering support for marginalized groups.
College can be an exciting, fun, and rewarding time, but life doesn’t always go according to plan. We can’t always prepare for when trauma or unexpected experiences may impact us, and navigating those experiences while balancing college life can feel overwhelming. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space to help you process your experiences, understand how trauma may be affecting you, and learn effective tools to work through it. You don’t have to navigate it alone as you heal, grow, and continue moving forward.
Equilibria Psychological and Consultation Services’ mission is to help individuals achieve their personal potential and long-term growth by compassionately and respectfully helping clients live in balance.
You're showing up to class, turning in the assignments, smiling in the group chat — and falling apart the second you're alone. If you're exhausted from holding it together for everyone but yourself, you're not broken. You're carrying more than anyone can see, and it's time someone helped you put it down. At Peace-Filled, we work with college students navigating the pressure to perform — academically, socially, online, and at home. Whether it's anxiety that won't switch off, a depression you've gotten good at hiding, family expectations that don't leave room for who you actually are, or a past you haven't had the space to process — we get it, and we know how to help you move through it. Our therapists are diverse, culturally grounded, and trained in trauma-focused care. We don't hand you generic coping tips and call it a day. We help you understand why you feel stuck, build the tools to actually change it, and walk with you while you do — virtually or in person, on your schedule. You don't have to have it all figured out to reach out. You just have to be ready to feel lighter.

I employ a holistic approach enabling the client to heal in their own time within a safe, understanding and caring environment. The world of academia presents it's own stressors in many arenas; performance, time management, sexual assault, depression, anxiety, stress and relationships. Through the utilization of various techniques, these issues can become manageable. In relationship therapy, I assist couples in doing the work needed to heal their relationship and move forward, with healthier communication and expectations. Healing from sexual abuse is a painful journey. I have experience in working with both victims and perpetrators, which gives me a unique perspective and understanding to assist you in your healing journey. My focus is on childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, women's issues, and trauma as well as other issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and domestic violence. I am trained in EMDR, which is the number one therapy for trauma. I work with people whose lives have been affected by codependency.

Therapy is a journey where you learn more about yourself, your internal experience, and your loved ones in order to change your life based on your own goals and values. I can help you and/or other members of your family gain flexibility in your thoughts and actions through experiential skill development. At times, therapy can involve vulnerability and emotional expression; while at other times, it can be playful and enlightening. My goal is to create a warm and safe environment where emotions, thoughts, memories, and other internal experiences can be explored with compassion and understanding. I have experience in treating trauma, anxiety, OCD, insomnia, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and interpersonal concerns using a variety of evidence based treatments. I have helped children, adolescents, families, parents, and couples approach their concerns from a family systems perspective.
Life can be a journey full of what feels like never ending roadblocks and detours. I believe that therapy can be an amazing opportunity to not only work through roadblocks but also celebrate life’s wins in a way that is nonjudgemental and collaborative. As a therapist I offer a warm, open, and empathetic approach to help gain self-awareness and work towards building a life worth living. Throughout my past work in acute care settings I have gained extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-injury, and complicated grief in residential, group, and outpatient settings. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and adults and primarily operate from a CBT/DBT approach with compassion and openness. In my approach I work collaboratively with my patients to help develop awareness of unhealthy patterns of thinking and behaviors and working towards acceptance and change. I strive to build a safe space to work on conquering roadblocks and moving towards a life worth living. I believe that all clients can achieve the life that they dream of and find meaning and power through all of life’s struggles. Remember you matter, and that life worth living is not far from reach.
I am currently scheduling patients for both in-person (PA/NJ) and telehealth (PA/NJ/MA) appointments. I welcome patients who are looking for medication management, therapy, a second opinion, or any combination of the above. My interests include diagnostic clarification of mood/anxiety/attention disorders, evaluation of young adults who may be seeking help for the first time, and treatment of substance use disorders that often present with other common diagnoses. I offer comprehensive treatment, taking into consideration not only whether a patient has a medical illness, but also discussing lifestyle, substance use, relationships and other factors that could be affecting an individual's mental health. When indicated, I may recommend the use of psychiatric medications in conjunction with therapy.
