Hi there! We are an outpatient practice offering in-person and virtual appointments. We specialize in working with those navigating the tricky terrain of growing up—dealing with friendship shifts, school pressure, big emotions, and the journey of self-discovery. Many of the clients who find us describe themselves as high-performing yet often struggling with things such as: suspected or diagnosed ADHD, chronic anxiety, burnout, and who are seeking balance amidst life's demands. Their work often centers on identity exploration, navigating interpersonal relationships, building self-esteem, developing a more compassionate relationship with their bodies and food, and adapting to life transitions. Together, we explore how anxiety shows up, how boundaries can feel empowering, and what it looks like to build relationships (with yourself and others) that feel safe, reciprocal, and genuine. Wherever you are in your life journey, we are here to come along side you and support you in the next steps. We truly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. We encourage you to reach out for a consultation call to determine how we can best support you and answer any questions you might have about the therapy process.

I believe that people are perfectly imperfect. They are beautiful and spectacular. People can also become stuck, not okay, and unable to live a fulfilling life. That’s where I come in. As a passionate and certified Mental Health Counselor, my experience allows me to understand the best ways to address each client’s needs in an effective manner. I am flexible in my approach and use collaboration as the basis of my therapy.

I’m an LPC with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and 2 years of clinical experience in both nonprofit and private practice settings. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change on their own, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure how to move forward in relationships or in life. My approach is eclectic and personalized, drawing from CBT, DBT, humanistic, gestalt, existential, and narrative therapy. I believe in unconditional positive regard, autonomy, and transparency—clients are the experts of their own lives, and my role is to help guide and support meaningful, lasting change in a way that fits who they are. In our first session, we complete a biopsychosocial assessment, talk through your goals, and make space for any questions you have about therapy. From there, we collaborate on a plan that feels comfortable and supportive, gradually exploring your history and patterns while building toward practical, forward-focused growth.

Ever feel like you're always just "catching up" or you're on the "outside" looking in? As an Autistic professional, I love assisting other neurodivergent individuals in navigating a neurotypical world. I offer a judgement-free, solution-oriented space where authenticity is the only agenda and an "eyes wide open" approach that uses precision and depth to uncover what’s hidden. I serve adult clients who may be experiencing identity and worldview transitions, shame and perfectionism, anxiety, as well as grief and depression. My specialty is helping clients succeed in their search for self-trust and direction. Life is a story full of unexpected twists and chapter breaks. It can be easy to lose the plot along the way. I primarily utilize Existential Psychotherapy with aspects of SFBT, emphasizing elements such as meaning-making, authenticity, and personal agency. This makes my approach highly adaptive to your specific journey. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my master's degree in Counseling and Development and am licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Billie Baker, LPC-S, and Dr. James Parker, LP. I offer in-person and teletherapy sessions with Dallas Therapy Associates.

I believe therapy is a space for growth and change that can lead to stronger relationships, healthier ways of functioning, and a deeper sense of well-being. In our work together, I’ll bring empathy, respect, and genuine care. My role is to support you in becoming more self-aware and confident, while helping you make the changes you want to see in your life. To me, therapy is a collaborative process. I’m not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you as a guide, a support, and sometimes just a steady presence while you navigate life’s challenges. I truly believe that everyone has the ability to grow and the responsibility to pursue that growth when they’re ready. I also believe our relationships with family, partners, friends, or chosen community play a huge role in our overall well-being. When those connections feel off or strained, it can affect so many other areas of life. Whether we're working one-on-one, with a couple, or with a family, I take a systemic approach to understand the bigger picture and help shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck. And I know that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll work together to find what feels right for you. Most importantly, I’ll offer a space where you feel safe, supported, and truly heard. Supervised by: Dr. Candice Ashley, PhD, MED, LPC-S, NCC, PLLC, K–12 School Counselor & Dr. Tara Dekkers, PhD, LMFT-S, ICP Site Location: CRA Professional Counseling Services and Supervision, 5280 Old Reliance Road, Bryan, Texas 77808

Solutions not band-aids, because clients deserve more than just the alleviation of symptoms. Treatment should be customized to meet the needs of the clients, because although more than one client may have a similar diagnosis everyone should be treated as an individual. To me, therapy is about meeting you where you are at. We can 'sit in the suck' and commiserate but from there we will build up! This is a collaborative relationship; we are colleagues working towards the same goal. I won’t try to impress you with fancy medical jargon or bore you with a lecture. I am a simple person with humble beginnings. I started my career in healthcare at 17 years old as a CNA (Certified nursing assistant) working nights at a tiny rural hospital. I moved into the Chicago suburbs to continue my education but maintained my CNA certificate by working afternoons and nights at a long-term care facility. I graduated with my Master’s in Social work in 2016 from Aurora University. During my initial years as a social worker I worked in mental health case management and hospice. Two years later I received my Licensed Clinical Social Work for the state of Illinois. Not even a month later in 2019 I moved to North Texas where it took me several more year of training before I received my clinical licensure for Texas. During that time I took several different positions to gain a better understanding of all the kinds of work a social worker is capable of. Those positions were intensive outpatient for mental health and addictions, intake, utilization review for a psychiatric hospital and home health. After gaining clinical licensure in Texas, I concentrated my focus to one on one telehealth with adults while they navigate difficult life changes. When I am not working I enjoy cooking, hiking, competing in dog sports, and tending to my plants and home with my spouse, 7 dogs, and one very old rabbit. I volunteer with the local animal shelter working with animals at risk of euthanasia due to behavior issues or medical concerns and in rescue rehabilitating struggling pets. As a clinician I use aspects of cognitive behavior therapy and dialectical behavior therapy and am considered person centered. I regularly provide handouts, suggest videos, or give homework to encourage therapeutic thought and action outside of our sessions. I look forward to meeting you and being part of the healing chapter of your story!

As a parent of a medically complex child and a person with my own chronic health conditions, I often see people become weary when navigating the chronic illness journey. Despite being smart, determined, strong, and compassionate, they begin to feel overwhelmed by life. They feel betrayed by their body. They are unsure of what abilities they, or their loved one, will have in the future and what that means for their sense of who they are. They face disappointment, anger, or judgement from friends and family who don’t understand the challenges they are facing. I want those fellow travelers to know: you deserve to find peace even in the midst of difficulty. You deserve to define and redefine who you are. Hope is not out of your reach. If you want to navigate uncertainty without losing yourself in the process, I’d love to help you. You don’t have to continue alone. Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see how I can help.
