I’m a Child and Adolescent Psychologist with over a decade of experience working alongside youth and young adults to create meaningful changes in their lives and relationships. An Indiana native, I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Indianapolis. I have extensive experience providing treatment to youth and families with complex needs. My areas of expertise include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, emotion regulation, and family conflict. I’ve worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient, and residential care. My approach to therapy is collaborative and personalized with a healthy dose of humor. I integrate concepts from a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to best meet the needs of my clients. Most importantly, I aspire to establish a genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship to serve as the foundation for change.
Innate Way Wellness is a holistic mental healthcare clinic that provides support and treatment for children, adults, and families seeking to live their best life.
Hi there! Thanks for taking some time to read more about me and my work. As a therapist, I have a huge passion for helping young adults struggling with questions such as "Who am I?" "Where do my feelings come from?" and "What do I do from here?". I spend many hours with clients diving deeper into these questions, and helping clients with issues surrounding anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and identity. I look forward to answering any questions you may have, and potentially working with you in the future!
You feel like you want things to be different going forward, but you're not sure how to make that happen. You feel a mix of emotions - sadness, anxiety, anger, fear and maybe hopelessness. When you are tired of hearing other people's expectations of you or feeling pressure from all the expected areas of your life, you are not feeling your best. Sometimes those “others” are parents or family. It feels like you are drowning or maybe you want to give-up. You feel like no one understands you and maybe you feel like you don’t even understand yourself right now. You dream of the day you will feel comfortable and confident in yourself no matter what others say or think of you. You want to live in a new changed way, feel energy, and be your best self with tools to cope with all that comes your way. I believe therapy sessions sometimes need to feel calm like lavender and at other times as energetic as neon. Let’s chat about what you’re wanting next, check out Neon Lavender Therapy and Wellness and email, text, or call today to set-up your in-person or virtual session.
I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, supporting both individual clients and their families. I have worked with individuals who are managing ADHD, Autism, PTSD, OCD, symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, transition of life, academic needs, relationship challenges and changes, and managing stressors throughout life and more. My goal as a therapist is to help you work through your issues, address your inner needs, and achieve your goals. I help you focus on what is most important to you by providing you a safe space to explore, express and examine the areas of your life that have been causing you stress or discomfort. In my free time, I enjoy playing tabletop board games, traveling, reading mystery and true crime thrillers, and spending time with my family and my dogs. You can text, email or call me. You can contact me at 317-731-2257. I will be taking new clients at the start of the year. I am in transition from a group practice to a solo practice!
You feel anxious and it’s hard to shut your brain off. People tell you to relax, but it’s not that easy for you. You’ve worked hard to get where you are, but it’s hard to sit back and enjoy it. Your standards for yourself feel too high, and you question how long you can keep this up. You tend to doubt yourself and your abilities and look to other people to reassure you. It’s hard to take up space, feel confident, and speak your truth. You want to feel present in your life and like you’re able to love and appreciate yourself just as you are. You want to feel confident, courageous, and like you are able to advocate for yourself. You want to feel happy, calm, and at peace with your life, your relationships, and your career. I specialize in working with young adults with anxiety, people-pleasing tendencies, imposter syndrome, and perfectionism to build self-confidence and live a life they love. A better future is possible, and I'm here to help you create it. I can’t wait to hear from you, send me an email or call me to schedule a free phone consultation.

No matter what brought you here, you deserve to feel better and live the life you want. I specialize in working with young adults, therapists, LGBTQ+ folks, and perfectionists/high achievers. I'm also trained in EMDR for processing trauma. I teach coping skills to calm the brain and body in order to manage emotions. You'll learn to reframe negative self-talk, manage stress, reduce perfectionism, & improve self-esteem. We can explore past trauma & how it impacts you currently. I also empower folks to set boundaries and prioritize self-care. We'll work on breaking patterns, assertive communication, and forming healthy habits. My style is authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I use a customized approach to create a style of therapy that best suits your goals. No two people are alike, and my approach to each person is just as unique. I'm pretty direct (while still being empathetic), and I encourage you to be direct with me too. Therapy isn't always serious or difficult - it can actually be a positive and uplifting part of your week. Whenever possible, I try to balance the difficult moments with lightness and hope. Check out my website for more info, or call/email if you'd like to work with me!
My first priority is that you feel SAFE in this space. We won't dive into the deep end on day one. Instead, we’ll go at your pace, focusing on building a space where you feel safe enough to exhale first. My goal isn’t to 'fix' you (because I don't believe that you are broken), but to partner with you in figuring out what’s getting in the way of the life you want. I specialize in working with people who are skeptical of the therapy process, nervous about opening up, or people who haven't had the best experiences in the past with treatment and maybe think therapy isn't for them. Additionally, most of my clients come to me with issues related to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and addiction. Kix is a therapy dog who joins me at work every day too and would be happy to join you in session! But don't worry - he can also take a nap during your session if you prefer.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who seeks to provide a safe and protected space that allows individuals to engage on a journey of emotional, psychological and spiritual exploration. I use a combination of mind-body approaches including mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). hypnotherapy, dream work, shamanic healing practices and energy work to help people identify and alter beliefs, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, judgments, and painful memories that stand in the way of living one's life. This work allows wounds to heal, helps a person break free from the destructive and unhealthy patterns and moves the person toward a greater sense of emotional and spiritual well-being. I use this bio-psycho-spiritual approach to address the body, mind, and spiritual aspects of a problem and to provide a way for individuals to discover and heal the root causes or those sensitizing events that are often contributing to or fueling the current problems. This encourages the potential for a more whole and integrated person to emerge.
